Hi,
What I was thinking of doing is to use a unballanced circuit here:http://www.epanorama.net/circuits/linemixer.html
basically a 10K taper followed by a 10k resister for summing. I would ballance the front and back end with a 600:600 tranny on the back end, and a 600:600:600 on the front (so I can split the signal for main out and aux out). Any reason this wouldn't work. What do you all think.

I found a schematic from a tape op article that used a 10k pot followed by a 150K resister for the summing node. I wonder why the big difference from the 10k on one schematic and 150K on the other?
