It's a gas-tetrode. Who remembers how they work??

And IIRC, that type is in short supply because jukebox collectors need them.

The heater cathode voltage rating of 12B4 is exceeded..... no, wait, the Driver Bias only goes to 100V, the gas-kick may only be 100V, it may be safe. And 12B4 is easy to get, and other tubes can work, or a MOSFET.

The C bias is only -8V. Would want a buncha 9V batts stacked-up to get some more interesting (cut-off) traces.

I would become annoyed at the AC coupling (traces should start from zero), but it IS "Rudimentary".

Generating a big sawtooth is easier than understanding what it can tell you.
