Can anybody tell from the schematic whether the echo pots are linear or audio taper? Or perhaps know off the top of their head?

It's here: http://www2.yamaha.co.jp/manual/pdf/pa/english/mixers/PM1000E_2.pdf

on pages 10 and 11.

The originals say 25K and they have an "A" on them. But does this necessarily mean audio taper? I was assuming it did, but then I was trying a couple 10K pots (the only value I had at the time) One was an audio taper, the other a linear taper, and the linear taper seemed to operate closer to how the original does.

???

I thought the A meant it's audio. check the pot with an ohm meter as you turn the shaft. out of the circuit, if it increases evenly, it's linear.
