Does anyone know the size and standard of the screws used for an SSL 4k. I know they aren't metric. They are some sort of UK standard but I can't remember the name or the standard or the size and don't want to spend a fortune buying them from SSL parts.

Just in case anyone wants to know here it is.

The screws are BA (British Association) Screw Gauge standard.

Size 4BA x 5/16 Black Countersunk posidrive head.

Whew that's a long one. As far as I know only one company in the US sells BA screws the name is British Fasteners They don't sell that particular type so if anyone knows of where to get these things let me know.

Just bought some for our 4000E - from just round the corner! they are not black, and not posi head. ie flathead and nickel, but who cares? - you can't see 'em! Clerkenwell Screws on Clerkenwell Rd in London. How many do you need?
