Where in the UK can I get resistor packs ?????

Trying to find where I can get maybe some sort of starter pack of resistors.

They are for my various valve/tube DIY mic pres limiters & so on.

So I want metal film 0.6 Watt and maybe 1W or 2W.

Maplin do starter kits but carbon film & only 0.25W......no good

was gonna just buy 10 of poular values from Farnell but have to buy in 50s £2 per value certainly adds up RS is more expensive.

Maplin only do 2W and only a few values.

Its a right pain in the arse just trying to find some simple components

I've come across the same problem, so I've just phoned RS,
there is a mistake in the catalogue and in the Website.
The kits called CBR-11 (400mW) and CBR-12 (600mW), stock numbers 209-4883 £56 and 156-2571 £47 respectively, I'm assured are infact leaded resistors and not surface mount as listed.
This actually makes them very good value, and the ring binder is only £9.05!!

Note - they are packaged yup so you will have to take the 6 items in each pack or so and test one to find its value
