I happened upon this auction a week ago.

http://cgi.ebay.com/Lucid-Technology-ADA8824-8-Channel-24-Bit-A-D-D-A_W0QQitemZ190075327947QQihZ009QQcategoryZ78189QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

A possibly unworking Lucid 8 channel converter. I was tempted to bid and
grab it for $199. I didn't obviously. It was relisted with a starting bid of
$99.

Thing is it was listed in the wrong category for sure. If was in pro audio,
more people would have seen it. I was watching it today and put a few
bids on it, but ultimatly it went for over $300. Someone might have gotten
a sweet deal. (if it works) and even if it was DOA, possibly repairable.

I found the schematics on symetrix's website after a search for info about
the Lucid. I'm posting just to share the story of the auction and also to link
to the scheamatics they have. Lots of things that might be useful here
from the symetrix site.
