Has anyone built an RCA Ba6a clone yet?

It seems easier to build that a Gates or other 6386 vari-mu. This is due to the 6386 mainly.
Tubes are easy to get and Sowter now has the txs.

Everyone refers to the Ba6a as the poorman's Fairchild. Having never used one, I don't know. But, it appears much more desireable than a Gates, Collins, or Altec vari-mu. This is based solely on reading articles in magazines like MIX, including the Fletcher Vintage Gear article.
