The Dimension D , project is gathering speed , but when
someone quiped " cheaper to buy a B*ringer , than build "

Got to thinking about buying some used chorus pedals to make something
like the famous tri-chorus rackmount unit .

So i'm thinking a buffer than two chorus units with a series / paralell
switch and then perhaps a dual clock type chorus with a switch to takes its
input from one of the first two units or the buffer , and then a couple of
opamps to sum the signal for a stereo out .

Anyone have practical experience or knowledge of ideas that work or are only good on paper ?

Of course i'm still in for making a Dimension D , but for a more obvious
chorus [ and flashback to the 80's ] and any luck under 100buck

tia regards Greg

those guys on FSB would buy one if the original weren't so expense , Haven't searched to see if there is a schematic but
could it be just a buffer feeding three choruses L-C-R ?  triple gang the controls , mix the outputs watch the phase ?
I'm happy with my tc chorus pedal , never being too thick [ or 80's ]
even a amp with tremelo and another without gives a stereo feel  ,
I had bought too cheap of pedals to try the idea and then got distracted with projects ,
but should get back to mock it up with a mixer and few pedals and dig it ...........

There is some more data here:

I know it sounds really 80s, but it is a really sweet sound....

F the girlfriend , I'll impress myself at home , maybe in the basement , probably in stereo
and most definitely monitoring through my record set up , you know a little lube makes things better

Last live gig I did was in stereo , mostly to have a backup amp , does make my " Sonic " space on stage nicer
but the biggest factor for that is not having a vocal monitor [ unless you do sing ]
