I need some 19" enclosures. steel or aluminium, doesn't matter.
1 and 2 U.

The cheapest I found so far were Canford (UK)

I want to buy a dozen or so.
Anyone knows an even cheaper source ?
Factory direct ?

I hope it can help you !

bye... Neeeeeeeeeeeeeno

How about here: http://www.pollin.de/

Look under Bauelemente - Gehäuse

The Pollin cases really s*ck IME, the holes don't fit each other etc. Unless you have way too much time and enjoy enlargening holes with a file, avoid. I had too much time and no € but still threw the 1HE case away finally. Or did the quality improve in the last two years?

From reading their website, I think Pollin does ship internationally - but I haven't ordered anything from them yet.

these have been posted before...

but if people are buying in the UK, Holt Broadcast Services seem quite reasonable. http://www.holtbs.co.uk

i'm off to have a look at the canford site :)

Cheers

I think the standard cases that Robeshop is selling are the s&ame as the Pollin ones . Steel 1.2 mm, painted. Excluding the frontpanel.
So I guess the Pollin ones are a better deal.

Have anyone any experience with one of these types ?

I ordered a 2 U case from robeshop.
One of the industry-series. Except of the frontplate (I ordered a 3mm black but got a brushed silver alu - but looks nice...) the case is very good quality. Everything fits. No need to file the holes. :thumb:
