I'm looking for a special push button switch that I found a year ago at a french component supplier, but I can't remember the name.

it was not farnell, rs or selectronic...
I can remember it was a website with a blue coloured background.

I hope you can help me.

thanks,
mat

http://www.gotronic.fr/ ?
http://www.cyclades-elec.fr/ ?

Or if you are a little color/memory deficient:
http://www.stquentin.net/ or
http://www.alscomposants.com/ ?

You can find a list in this page:
http://www.sonelec-musique.com/electronique_bases_adresses_magasins.html

thank you.

I think it was gotronic, but they don't have the rectangular switches anymore, only the the type with round lenses.

does anyone know, where I can buy these types of switches anywhere else?

I bought the same switches at http://www.cyclades-elec.fr/ :

Matthias,
I found a similar switch you're searching here:
http://www.electronique-diffusion.fr/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=poussoir+rond+lumineux
Ref 317 is for pulse action, 316 is for switching action
The pics show a 1RT type, but 316 and 317 are in fact 2RT.

Matthias,
There are some others switches here too :
http://www.monacor.com/fr/produkt_aufl_monacor.php?typ=u&hkatid=148&ukatid=388&spr=FR&brand=MO
I think that Monacor headquarters are located in Germany

EAO switches
9mm diameter - EAO series 19 - SPST = momentary or locking - circular or square
bigger square, rectangles ones EAO series 31 - momentary, locking etc.. single pole, multi pole (although a 4P cost me £20-30) (think SSL bypass - same sort - although old style where series 01 - I think now discontinued - so 31 is a good substitute)

12v or 24v bulbs - or you can get a fancy LED one

You can get them from RS or from Canford - the 4P from scattergood and johnson or something (I forget sorry)

re:2P or 4P - it would be easier to get a 1P and use a little relay board to expand them - will be cheaper
