I am building 2 G1176 units both with Mnats J version boards... using OEPs in one and Lundahls in the other 1176, both in and out.

1. question:

How do you bypass this version? I heard something like grounding one resistor... but which one? I can't calibrate them without the bypass option...

2. question:

I went 2:1 on the input and 1:2 on the output and the unit with Lundahls is not having enough gain IMHO. Much less than my Purple. Is this normal?

Hi,

if the design is the same with gyraf 1176, the bypass is obtained with the meter rotary switch wich enables to see gain reduction, vu or bypass the 1176.
