Hi,
I know that probably this topic has been already discussed, but I cannot find any thread on it.
I have the DC flowing through the stages, so that anytime the signal has a peak and the compressor limits it, I can hear the "pump" (the typical dc noise)
I have also seen how the UA176 manual suggests to do.
Is there a universal way for any varimu compressor to harmonically balance these cathode bias resistors?
Can anyone explain the methode suggested by UA in the 176 manual?
Thanks,
Val
