owned one for awile - definitely cool for the mojo factor but not really that neat of an eq...I tried swapping tubes a few times and it never really lived up to much.

The barber-pole type indicators are cool though!

THEY HAD A S LOAD OF BLONDER TONGUE VIDEO ROUTERS DOWN AT THE SURPLUS.

I bought about ten of them for projects.
You gut the box, saving all the cool stuff, tehn you have an ultra low noise chassis, since they plate on some special metal for non radiation of megahertz signals, which means great shielding for audio also.

Lower ground resistance also, woth the plating.
Not all boxes have the same noise rejection.
Interesting, ehh?

I have worked on a Blonder Tounge audio baton before. From someone who never works with tube circuits, I thought it was pretty simple.

(thought the output stage was under designed, but what do I know)
