Hey guys,

I went to the MIT Swapfest today for the first time. Amazing! I got some fun stuff I thought I'd share with the group:

Swapfest.jpg

- third hand: $5
- solder wick: $1 for four (quarter each)
- Lead bender: $2
- Tweezers: 6 for $3 (50 cents each)
- Hemostats: 2 for $1 (50 cents each)
- 1% metal film resistor bags (about 200 in each bag): $3 ($1 each) - they only had two 10K bags and one 2K bag

And now for the really nice stuff...

I got 30 trimmer caps for my LA2a experiments + 6 8-pin (T4b) sockets for $30! The caps go from 50pF to 380pF.

So there! Some guy had really nice shielded tube sockets for $1.50, but I ran out of money... I'll be going again next month.

Peace,
Al.
