Does anyone know how to wire up a C12VR output transformer?

I have had one floating around for years and even AKG can't tell me
how to connect it up.
Maybe I'll throw it out.........................

thats the funny red&black type,no?
oliver posted a picture,

and the same core is used in the 414 b-uls, but the ratio might be different

how much dcr on prim/sec? where do you want to use it?

Hmmm...............

I sent Oliver an email but he couldn't help.
The more I think about it, the more I want to just get rid of it.
I wanted to use it in an AC701 circuit rather like the M49.
Maybe I will offer it up in the Black Market.
Cost me £40 a long time ago before I knew better!

well, if you already own the transformer, at least try it - it could have a colouration you might like.
did you measure the dc-resistances for finding out the primary/secundary?

oh, i just realized that the transformer in question has a ratio 4:1 - you would need to do a cathode follower, the ac701 would have a hard time driving it from the plate.
