Hello to all!
I just curious.
Went into calculations...
As I know, dbx202c control port impedance is around 600R
and they have controll voltage constant of 20db/1v.
If refer to original SSL schem, posted on Jacob's website,
82e26 and 82e27, there's 4k7 resistors in series to control
ports of VCA's.
On GSSL, we actually have 2k1:120r to get 6.1 mv/db.
This messed up my thoughts!!! ))
I missed something there.
The question is:
How many volts to get 10 or 20 db of compression
in original SSL compressor there's
at the output of T1 opamp (lf351-right after time const. capacitor) referring to 82e27????
Thanx!
