Ii'm trying to source 115 to 220 V transformer for 2 v78 units (modifying to be more like V72's). I've seen a couple 230V ones but no 220. I vaguely recall there being a trick with a resistor on the Voltage suupply to the V unit but I can't remember the details.

Can someone recomend a good xfmr for these. I think Amps shouuuld be around 90-100 mA.......

Just buy one of the 115:230v units and use a cheap 10v transformer with the secondary in series with the 230v secondary, but connected out-of-phase to subtract 10v. The primaries should, of course, be in phase.
