30"-32" from the floor is good. Believe me, its not too short.
My mill has an intergrated table in it, and it stands about 30" tall.
You don't want to have to lift your arms too high to operate the wheels on the coordinatetable, it'll get tiresome pretty quick.
Ok that last part made me sound like a midget, which I'm not :green:
