Hey guys,

I'm just wondering what size and shape are the cores you guys use to wind your passive EQ inductors? And what wire gauge do you use? Is there a difference in sound in, say, a toroid vs. an E frame coil?

Actually, just a shameless bump.

I trynto stay away from gapped inductors, as one little micron of gap movement will change the inductance radically.
Torroids were the original, so thats the way to go if you are cloning.
Other people have used pot cores with sucess, so don't go by me alone.
Especially at night!
