I have a P®esonus Centr@l St@tion (first run with the non-linear pot) and the remote. It's long out of warranty, but there are three modifications I would like to do to mine:

1) change the dim amount for the talkback.

2) there seems to be a volume jump when hitting the mono button (this is normal when summing two channels) which I would like to attenuate a little so it matches the volume of the stereo monitoring.

3) there's a "ramp up" time with the talkback that I'd like to eliminate. Maybe there's a limiter there for protection or maybe it's there to eliminate the switch click when engaging the talkback.

Anyone have a schematic?

Well, I struck out with Presonus. Here's what they said:

"Hi,
Unfortunately, we are not able to release any schematics for any of our
products. Also, we are unable to do any mods here as well. Sorry for the
inconvenience.

Sincerely,

Sam Daniel

I was hoping some other DIY'r might have already frankenstein'd this. Rolling up my sleeves as I type - hope it's not surface mount...

Well, that sounds like an unlikely response from them, but that's okay.

It really shouldn't be that complicated. Even if it it SMT, all you need is a decent magnifier and an Ohmmeter.

HTH!
