Thanks to Mnats & Gyraf for all the ground work with the pcb's. Front panel was sprayed with car paint from Halfords 'Nordic Blue'!!!!

This 1176 has the UTC input and a Marinair output. Sounds amazing- Never heard anything better on bass drums.

Hmmm. Not sure why the picture links didn't work properly. For big scale pics try these links below:
Nicely done.

Where'd you get those knobs from?
Thanks. The knobs were from UA's distro in the UK. Don't ask how much they cost (slightly upsetting). They took about 2 weeks to arrive via the US- Just give UA an email and they will give you the PN and nearest distributor (sorry, I've lost my email with the details).

The meter is a sifam R22 which is actually the same size and pattern as the original Weston type used on the UA Blue Stripe. They're much nicer than the later Modutec and don't have that annoying 'bouncy' ballistic.

Chassis case is a standard 'Penn' one available from CPC in the UK.

I don't have any plans to engrave the panel-

Wow, that´s a very pretty one. I still haven´t labeled mine, too. This beast is so easy to use, that frontpanel engraving seems almost obsolete.
Congratulation!!! :thumb:
best regards
Bernd
