Any clues as to model number appreciated

I have seen these as talkback microphones in old german broadcast consoles. Probably not suitable for music recording but who knows?

Those are the elusive and highly-sought-after Sennheiser 5-speeds.

Made for VW just after the war, the production line was taken over by Trabant after the fall of the iron curtain. The production line was then closed down after Trabant owners discovered that the vehicles never lasted long enough to make a shift into second gear.

I concur, while pointing out as well that the arrangement of contacts in the base reveals the already pernicious influence of the Trilateral Commission.
