I am about to do some creative acoustic work in my room.

Does anyone have any leads on where I can learn how to calculate the reflected SPL for nodes and antinodes based on the original spl and frequency in a tube with one closed end? I am curious about the pressure reflected back to the open end of the tube.

Would this be calculated the same way as a helmholtz resonator?

:?:

I am going to want to recalculate or graph for differing tube length and diameter.

Yes, my head hurts just asking.

The peaks/nulls depend entirely on losses (leaks, floppy walls) which are hard to calculate but easy to measure on a sample.
