Hey Anyone out there know how to reconnect a transformer pin.
On a Triad HS56 I was a liitle too rough and pulled off pin 12.

Anyway is popped out very clean and I cant seem to solder it into the hole.
How can I reattach a pin on an Audio transformer? I need pin 12.

You need to pull the header off.
This requires a big azz soldering iron, or a small azz propane torch.

That is luckily, not a nested can job for noise, as it is a 1:1.
So only one header plate to worry about, maybe just one more inner can, I forgets.

Anyway, you put it in a vice, heat it up, don't worry, it will not explode, wax might bubble out of the header, but just put out the flames.

Air in a can is usefull for blowing off molten solder, ala radiator shop style.

It's not like your dissecting a Langecvin AM 16 input, so just go for it, dime a dozen triad.

Man that sounds hardcore!
Hey are you in LA? you wanta give this a go for me?

I need this guy for my Vari-mu design input transformer.

Or I could just use the 250: winding on the input and say screw it. ... not sure what impact that might have on the design.

You want to run it balanced, that means pin 12 has to be hooked up.
The wire that connects to the other end has fallen off. Just get in there and fix it, it's not somebodys brain, so if you slip with the scapel, no law suit.

25 bucks on evilbay so go for it.
