Hi,

I bought an old PATHE MARCONI Tube Amp from 1970.

I have a few questions :

- I'd like to make a line out from the HP Output, is it possible?
- I must put a 16 ohm speaker ( minimum impedance charge on this amp), Is there any risk to damage the speaker?
- Is It Important to Install a stand by switch on this amp?
- What do you think about "Controle" L1 and L2 switch, I think that it's for control Current of the Power tubes, am I right?
- Someone have an idea about the function of the + 15 volt Switch?

thanks

Line out is easy, its like a headphone jack on a Fender, look at some newer guitar amps and copy the simple two resistor voltage divider, or just build one yourself. Use a 600 ohm for the bottom resistor, and maybe a pot to figure out the top resistor.

Cool amp!

Are there any French Viseux tubes in there? They are supposed to rock, but nobody know about them.
I have a pair of 6V6's in my delux reverb.

16 ohms will not hurt the speaks, it will lower the life of the tubes by a few hours, if anything, I believe, let me check with Weber, who is sitting rite here on my bookshelf.
.

Oh cool, those innocent rectifiers, the GZ34's?

Big bucks if they are Mullard.
Being from England, there =is a good chance they came out of the same factory.
They go for 100 bucks a pop.

That is the best rectifier money can buy for any Fender type that uses it.

Charles Kittleson up in Clear Lake can tell just buy looking at it what type, but I forgot what to look for.
The plates or the getter, one of those, or both.

Big bucks if they are Mullard.

power tubes are :

XF4
B712

perhaps, someone could give some more information about these tubes...

I will change the Old plugs with a New one and Try to Power on the beast
