Anyone have a pinout for these. The mics are old grey/white plastic case 421's The connector out the back is a touchel that has 3 flat pins that form a Y shape.
I am sure this has been mentioned before, just can't find it.

here is a picture and is called gross tuchel DIN 41624

Got an ohm meter handy, Pucho?

That'll tell you most of what you need to know.

WHICH one is hot, you can find out from holding it next to a known "in-phase" (shudder! -the corect term would be "standard polarity") microphone.
right right except I am testing continuity between the mic body and pin 3 of the tuchel. That doesn't seem correct at all :?
Whyever not?

Are you perhaps making the assumption that pin 1 HAS to be ground?

-If so, you've never worked with Audio-over DIN connections... and Rediffusion XLR pinouts would COMPLETELY bake your noodle!!!

No but logic would tell me that under normal conditions, Pin 1 would be ground as most mic connections with 3 pins are wired that way.

If anything I would assumed the mics were pin 3 hot based on age
