Allen Bradley Pot ID ??

Hey Guys,

I'm trying to buy some replacement pots, but I can't tell if these two pots are Linear or Log.. any idea?

#1: JAIN200P252UA 2.5k-OHM TYPE J

#2: JA1N056S504UA RV4NAYSD504A 500K-OHM TYPE J

On the PDF, the last letter of the code denotes its law. A is clockwise Log.

Why not take the pots out and measure them? Is it tricky to do so?

# 2 is a linear pot...
RV 4 NAY is a non locking shaft type pot
RV 4 LAY is a locking type

# 1 I don't have info on

Thinking logically about this... these pots are attack and decay pots on a compressor.

they MUST be linear!

They are both linear...

Any Allen-Bradley pot with a "UA" on the end is linear...
