Critics hated that album for years. It was always one of my favorite Zappa albums and is in my top 20 all time favorites.
It has since made it on VH1's classic albums. Standing the test of time.

Irish Wolfhound National Specialty in Dallas this week. Taking three, showing two.
No poodles allowed!

I'm leaving in about five hours. I suppose I should sleep a bit before trying to drive.
Don't worry... there's plenty of Zappa for the ride!

I saw a handsome parish lady
Make her entrance like a queen
Why she was totally chenille
And her old man was a Marine
As she abused a sausage pattie
And said why don't you treat me mean?

This will actually be an affront to prog rockers everywhere: I like Kansas (before they went AOR) and never liked anything by Zappa. I'm told it's supposed to be the other way around, but the way I see it, I really don't care about a bunch of prog rockers who are offended by my non-conformance. That's quite ironic, really, if you think about it.

Not until you first ponder the significance of short person behavior in pedal depressed
panchromatic resonance and other highly ambient domains.
