Hi , I built loads of tube mic pres & I love em all ..I have read about a few sold state pres but am a little confused...as I say I only have my DIY tube pres mostly with Sowter transformers I guess Im just looking for a different flavour I dont have anything to compare the pres to so its difficult when I read someones raves about say a Baby animal...I want something as good as good tube pres like V72 but with transistor IC FET flavour for a change.. id prefer to remake a classic rather than a new one really dont mind DIY from scratch or maybe a kit
