Never mind star signs. Who is your star?

Mine is Elvis Presley, with Wonder of You. 1st Aug -12 Spetember 1970.

Find your birthday, see who was no. 1.

UK NO 1 HIT SINGLES

St Winifred's School Choir - "There's No-one Quite Like Grandma"

Mine, according to the US charts, is "Silly Love Songs" by Wings. If I go by the UK charts, it's "You To Me Are Everything" by the Real Thing. Whoever they are.

DAMNIT! I was just five days off of my UK star being "The Combine Harvester" by the Wurzels. That sucks!

Great band.

When I leave your door,

When we say goodbye it hurts me more and more...

Girl it just ain't right to end a day like this, with no more than a kiss,

And spend the night just dreamin; of the things we're gonna miss.

If I had my way,

Girl we'd be together more and more each day.

We'd go on forever lovers hand in hand

can't you understand?

=-Girl you've got to be my woman, I've got to be your man.

I worked with Chris and Eddie Amoo, Their album was "four from eight" which had a LOT of unrealised significance: there were four band members, all black, all from the seriously poor area of Toxteth, which is "Liverpool Eight". (the post code is 'L8'.)

"can you feel the force?" was the big disco hit, but "can't get by" and "YOu to me are everything" were the big ballad hits. -Several number one hits, but I remember the unreleased stuff:

"Mother in law she don't like me...

...-She say I'm shifty!"

Good times!

-Mine was "You really Got me" by the Kinks... -Not too shameful... -jon Lord (from Deep Purple) played keyboard on that one, don'tcha know...

Rod Stewart - Maggie May

"Nasty, talking to a slightly deaf journalist, had claimed only that the Rutles were bigger than Rod. Rod Stewart would not be big for another eight years, and certainly at this stage hadn't had a hit. At a press conference, Nasty apologized to God, Rod and the press, and the tour went ahead as planned." :green:
