Polytone Mini-Brute III Bass Amp - Anyone know them?

Hi,

I have a Polytone Mini-Brute III Bass amp that I got for peanuts because it doesn't work. I figured it would be simple to fix...

What I have yet to figure out is whether I have the right schematic... The amp I have is supposedly a 1st edition, with velvet covering. The only schematic online I can find is here: http://www.murchmusic.com/polytoneserviceinfo.htm

By my reckoning, the amp is from the late 70s. The 80s model has a vinyl cover, so I guess the velvet is from '77-onwards (according to searches the amp was first made then).

Without tracing the circuit out, can anyone tell me if the above schematic is still relevant? It's dated '98... The ICs are completely different - but they would be after 20 years - the question is whether the topology has changed...???

I would start by checking the voltages at the power supply,
you don't really need to have a schematic to do that.
