I know theres a link in here somewhere but i cant find it.

Im looking for large diameter knobs. The kind that just barley fits in the palm of your hand.

Like the ones the used for rotary faders on old mixers.
 
OKW has knobs up to 40mm. The sell small quantities too. I'm going to be ordering some in the next couple of weeks to check them out. They're not retro. They look like Elma.

Davies Moldiong do really large Pultec style knobs, up to 3" skirt diameter;

Mentor has some nice retro knobs, maybe not as big as you'd like though...

A local plastics outfit used to make these
nobs.JPG

rather magnificent 51mm specimens but they gave up about
25 years ago. Pity they went out of fashion really.
