HI All,

Output No 1 has become unbalanced, I suspect one side of the output opamp has died, I think I had a short on the cable for a long while that killed it upon inspection of the cable.

Of course its SMD.

If not I'll send it back to Germany, but I'm hoping to avoid that.

I can work on it. I am in the USA. If you could give me some more info on it, that would be great (pics, schematic). I work with this stuff everyday. My work has all of the tools that make SMD rework somewhat bearable.

Let me know if you are interested. If you wanted, you could pull out the PCB and send it without the case, it's just a thought.

Vetson, Thanks for your offer, I'll certainly think about it, godd idea about sending the PCB, will let you know.

I have spoken to the UK agent who did get in touch at first, but I have not heard any replys since, so i just thought i'd see if any one here could help.

no problem either way, Ill contact the RME UK agent once more If nobody here can do it.
