The guitar FET preamp by Mr. Tillman: very intresting. The remote powering is very simple and smart.

My question: is it possible to adapt the design to a mic, to have:
1 - lower input Z (OK, this is simple...)
2 - higher gain (30x, about 30 dB)
3 - use the ring "switching" contact in the input jack from the pedal to obtain remote power (about 9V) from the guitar pedal (this is difficult for me...).
I hope unbalancing the mic is not too noisy, using the mic connector shell as preamp.
Thanks
Marco
