I've been working on a pair of original 2016's to try to bring back to life. They were non-working units when I started working on them and after re-capping PSU, a few of the A/D, D/A cards, replacing ribbon connectors and cleaning the chip carriers, aligning/calibrating converters both units boot up and sound great.
Problem is when doing a continues self test, I have errors on +15v and -15v, every time.
Looking at the rails with my scope, I see no problems. Nice and clean. Could the A/D converter for the rails be damaged? This problem is on both units.
Anyone have any experience with these units?
