Hey guys,

I have a late model M3 where when I press on a bass pedal, it never releases unless I manually pull the lever that opens/closes all the bass pedal switches. I have the pedal assembly out and opened up.

In the pics, you'll see there is one lever that controls all the switches, that I can manually pull on and the bass notes finally release. For some reason whatever activates this lever is not doing it's job. The problem is, I can't figure out what it is that activates it and why it's not working. I'm not understanding it mechanically.

If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be helpful. Or if there is a hammond messageboard that you guys know of, let me know.

The lever is the boot looking thing. My first thought was that it is the metal bar across the lever that pushes down on it to make it release, but that metal bar feels really stationary. I can't see it pushing down far enough to activate the lever.

For starters, check out Hammond Zone, http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/hammond_zone/

Another good forum is Hamtech, http://www.hamtech.org/

A search through the archives at either place should give you the info you need.

Good Luck
