Just finishing up some 1176 pcbs and I have a few traces that went bad, nothing major, and I can probably solder on a jumper, but I was thinking, I'm going to tin these boards anyhow
here's the question
will that conductive silver pen thing, followed by tinning make a decent trace, or will this be trouble?

I have only ever used the self adhesive track repair stuff.
That and most often just a piece of solid wire and a bit of care with much swearing. :?
These things often come down to practice and skill.

Hi Kev,
I've never seen self adhesive track repair. I have used the conductive paint before and it works OK, fine for repairing like a guitar pedal or something.. its basically paint loaded with silver dust. This is so much easier than the solder and wire repair, but I did a little experiment and it doesn't seem like the tinning sticks to it. I was just curious more from a long term standpoint, oh well, fire up the iron then.
