Welcome to the forum.
I used Sifam knobs on mine (please see reply #487).Although mine are grey you can have them in black too.Same for the coloured inlets,you have a very big choice there.Available in nearly any usual size and any shaft diameter.
Don't know where you are located,here in germany I sourced them from Sibalco.

What's a rough costing in parts for a stereo set of these?
As in how much to shell out over the total project [boards/components/case etc] so I can work out my budgets
Any rough figures/ideas much appreciated :)
 
Ok sorry for the same question. What are the best pots for this build. I want to build an 8 channel version so I need a lot of pots. They will be off board. I would like to have center indent and possible switched for the frequencies. Also for an 8 channel version can someone suggest a PSU? I am going to do a DB25 input and output. A knob suggestion would be welcomed also.

I have answered all of these questions except of center indent pots (this is new) because you asked me for them via PM,even sent pics from my build at starting point.

I guess I was asking the knob question in relation to a potentiometer question. I live in the US but it seems the omeg pots are hard to find. Just looking for a good combination. I did take the information you sent me. Just looking for different options.

You can use any conductive plastic potentiometer. Manual wiring is of cource needed with those types that don't fit mechanically on the pcb. Carbon potentiometers are not recommended. They start to scratch quite soon because the circuit is dc coupled.

So you have the answer already,it says "carbon element" in the description.So better not use them.

And about your center indent idea:It could be done best with a stepped pot or building a switch in as suggested.The idea behind it is that standard center indent pots do have tolerances which sadly means that the mechanical center position will not exactly match the half of the resistance.It will be slightly off and then cause a little change of the sound when one thinks it is flat.
Of course there will be a marginal infuence even with built-in switches because the audio still runs through the i/o stages.

Ok found this pot on Mouser website. Anyone know if one could make a dual gang pot from this? This is a great pot with 11 dents (positions) but is only 1 gang. Anyone know if you could modify it to have 2 gangs? Like adding the stacks and resealing the pot.

What is the best spot for an attenuator in this EQ?
Should be easy to implant in a ready build EQ.
Maybe the best at the first OP amp output?
 
Could anyone kindly tell me if these toggle switches will work?  From the schematic they look like they will...but then again, I'm not very experienced at this.

You mean for switching the bands on & off,right?
