adding output gain trim

Hello
I am looking for some good reading here on adding an output trim to some adm pres I'm racking if any one can point me to some general info on this subjuct it would be great. Ive searched but not having any luck.

Thats part of the problem impossible to find it's a adm 2901 I have the basic pinout but thats it.

I know this is probaly wrong but can you just add a pot right before the output transformer.Someone please shoot me down Im looking for some guidance

Quite possibly, but it still depends on the circuit.
