Those are Reichenbach transformers - RE 75101. Very similar if not identical to the Cinemags. Can still be ordered directly from the factory, I spoke to them 18 months ago about this model. I believe API use the RE 75101 in their 3124, could be wrong on that though.

Cheers,

They say:

"THE MIC. PATH INCLUDES A JENSEN INPUT TRANSFORMER"

RE looks like Reichenbach part #; not sure when Reichenbach was folded back into Cinemag. If so, they would be identical to the Cinemag part #; the Quad Eight input is a similar example.

Reichenbach was affiliated with Jensen for a while IIRC, but not anywhere as late as 1995. Deane sent me a ring binder with white papers years ago which I believe said on the printed cover "Jensen Transformers, by Reichenbach Engineering".

This reminded me of the sad and unexpected departure of Steve Barker, who did the archival and some released recordings for the Southern Calif.-based chamber music series Pacific Serenades.* He did look a bit below par when I chatted with him at one concert, but no one apparently knew how ill he must have been.

*www.pacser.org . They have come a long way since I did some of their earliest location recordings, on an old TEAC reel-to-reel, a homebrew sand state pre with 5532-ish amps, and some borrowed U47s.

According to folk history, Jensen broke away from Reichenbach in a very unfriendly manner. I believe well before Tom Reichenbach left his father's shop and set up his own. Then he folded Reichenbach back into Cinemag after his father passed on, sometime in the '90's, I think.

Sounds quite plausible---a lot of heady personalities going on there.
