Gates Dynamote Tube Mixer
This puppy is my latest project, an Art deco styled "Dynamote remote amplifier" "Gates Radio & supply Co" "Quincy - ILL- USA"
It's a 3 into 1 mono mixer, with separate power unit. The Trafos and chokes are marked UTC and the Tubes are 7C7, 6J5, 6J5, 6F6 and 6H6. The Tube in the psu is marked just K2E and has an RCA badge.
The guy I got it from said it was making funny noises and the fuse went. I've since had it powered up, but the 7C7 looks totally gone so I'm waiting for spares to arrive.
I'm wondering if anyone has any info on this particular unit? the only Dynamote's I've seen have been PCB based gray box versions.
Also any info on the K2E tube.. google shows nothing.
