A few ?s on buying a pci based multi test tool

Such as is it a smart idea to install it in my main computer or should I get a separate one for it??? Also is there some "kind" of "circuit buffer" that I get add in order to protect my PC?? Also I'd like to hear from those who absolutely hate this format.

Get a new machine for the lab.

I'm a huge fan of these off lease small form factor PC's that are all over eBay. I own two, and plan on buying a third very soon.

While they generally don't have tons of ram, or gigantic hard disks or disk burner, there fast, small and reliable.
