I need to make a DA16-AES-IFC: Apogee Interface Cable so I can send digital audio signal from XLR AES to D-sub AES.

Has anyone soldered such a cable? Is there any special wire needed?
I have the diagram for the D-sub connections but not for the XLR AES pins.
If anyone knows anything about this please let me know.

IMHO, 150€ for these cables is way to expensive. :?

I've made that lead.. for my sins!! I used standard cable  worked great btw

I've done them too. I use Van Damme Green AES multicore. Easy to use and solder.
The XLR's are wired as Audio ones. Pin2 +ve Pin 3 -ve and Pin 1 Screen.
