Hi.

Does anyone know how to get rid of the pops when you switch frequencies on the G-Pultec?

Regards
Henrik

Thanks for all the answers.
Its gonna be a pain to resolder all the switches

Here is what it looks like so far

BUT - if you switch with signal running through, then it will thump - both on the original and the clone (as the filter is the same).

If you get thumping without any signal, then you have some DC in the circuit - which you shouldn't have, as this is a passive filter?? Check integrity of the input transformer and the grid-blocking capacitor to the tube amplifier.

thanks pat, thats interesting. i just talked to a local peq1a owner and asked him to check the switches, and he says they are non shorting/break before make.
i also tried both possibilities, and prefer non shorting clicks over shorting frequency jumps.
