I have a Moog Source on my bench at the moment with cracks in the flexible connector that runs from the mylar front panel to a PCB socket. I am trying to figure a way to restore or bypass the conductive traces. Has anyone tried this successfully? Is there some kind of condictive adhesive I can get and maybe stick some Kynar wire to the plastic to jumper past the damage?

Hi Steve,

Chemtronics makes a pen that I have used with "some" success. Maybe it will work, maybe not. Here's a datasheet

They sell it as CircuitWorks Flex Conductive Pen at Digikey and at Mouser. You should be able to find it there in OZ as well.

Hope this helps!

Thanks Charlie, that sounds like just the ticket! I will try RS and Farnell and all the usual suspects over here....
