Need help racking Telefunken W695

Hi

I am in desperate need of help!
In the past I have racked some vintage Eqs like W295b, W695b etc.
Everything worked fine.
Now I am clueless. I have connected the modules like it is described in the schematics. (see kubarth page please)
But there´s a such a big gain loss, I can barely hear the audio. If I try it otherwise there´s a big hum coming out of the speakers.
Is it an impedance problem or have I connected the Output transformer incorrectly? I think it is a 1:1+1 ratio? It has two outputs?

did you connect up the jumper between the center taps?

Now i´ve encountered other problems:

If I turn the high freq pots there is an INCREDIBLE increase in hiss.
The other Eq makes VERY loud pops when i´m turning the 10KHz pot.

Time to clean the pots? Recap the modules?
