Roger Foote designed a bypass PCB some time ago. I think it was last year but I can't find the thread. :?
ptownkid then wanted to sell the PCBs.

Because of this project I already orderered XLR jacks and sockets for PCB mounting.

I have seen that Igor has now another bypass board design but it doesn't fit into my Purusha cases.

Is this project dead?

I believe there was not enough interest for Roger to do a new run ,
but he may have been willing to share it [ i don't want to speak for him ]

Hi sonicwarrior, I shared my old bypass pcb layout about 3 years ago here as well... Just search forum.
It was before RF pcb's came up IIRC.

I had a lot of pm's about these pcb's and now, boards are available.

New ones are a way easy to use with most of projects.

And yes, they DO fits into Purusha cases, just ask for backs with holes
like in Sontec stereo.

At these bypass pcb's, we used NC3-MAH and NC3-FAH Neutrik
connectors. Cheap, good, gold-plated, easy to mount.

Yes, saw those types being mentioned.

Question was if the other types that I mentioned would fit, as various people bought them from the cheap priced stash I had, and as I understood also in anticipation on the Roger-PCB.

OK, I'll have a look myself at the dimensions.

Bye,

Peter

We may be doing a board run in the near future. I was thinking of putting some of these bypass PCBs into that panel. If I do it I will post here and they will be available through KA Electronics here in the US.

Best regards

Thanks for the response, sounds good - also good to hear that might those XLRs I sold might not fit the 'Igor-PCB' (haven't checked yet) people can still go for yours, as intended. Ha, or vv actually, well, it'll be clear

Regards,

peter

Roger, sorry for my strange and unnecessary response - I just like my signature taken from Keith :green:

me and most people here do like relay bypass PCBs (all together I sold more than 1500 pieces of mine), and since there is a demand for them you should do and sell some of yours :thumb:
You have a layout using the XLRs Peter was selling?
yes, you can see it here:

the number of 1500 pieces is project depended since they have been a part of the D-AOC & Poor Man sales - but many people ordered extra Bypass PCBs in addition.
for me it doesn't make sense to sell them individually (shipping costs), and yours and Igors Bypass PCBs are more universal than mine :thumb:
