Hi everybody,
i'm trying to upgrade my existing G-pultec,
i bought a Cinemag CML-150T inductor,
and was wondering if anybody has allready plugged this baby,
in a Gyraf Design Pultec ?
Hope somebody did,
Regards
Pacemaker

hi !
i have allready searched for a lot of thing ,
cinemag+Pultec
cinemag+GPultec
cinemag+G-Pultec
cinemag inductor
cinemag CML-150T etc,etc..
I found a post talking about "Hosef" who is supposed to have posted something on gyraf website
but i didn't find anything yet,
if you have any leads ,
regards,
Pacemaker

still nothing,
maybe the search engine is not very powerfull,
does anybody have the link or info about this cinemag ?

Does this help ?
it came from someone here [ give yourself credit please ]

i allready have this,
but i think it's for IOAUDIO inductors,
not the cinemag ones,

the inductance values are different in the cinemag,
so maybe there's some caps value to change,
or some traces to cut,

but thanks for the help,
maybe this connection can work...

you may have to figure it out yourself now ,
but if you go to the cinemag website you can get the
color coding [ careful brown & tan look alike ]

and just sub that tap info into the above diagram ,
that's what i'll have to do eventually , good luck

or

the Cinemag may have more taps [? ] than the gyraf board
can use BUT after looking at the cinemag website just choose
the cloest set of taps to substitute for the gyraf design
Or to be less confusing , you have to start on one wire to
call end or start winding [ top or bottom , hi or low ]
and sub the cinemag wires in sequence , whichever order
hi to lo , that corresponds with what the gyraf wants to see
in hi to low for inductor values , substitute

Since the inductor values may not be the same , the caps values
may need to change , but you can play with that later to taste
and if you give up something you may get Dr Pat's inductor from
the giveaway [ but you'll still have to install it ! ]

Pacemaker,

Keep the same cap values as in a EQP1A along with your Cinemag inductor. Just add the following caps to a rotary switch mounted off the PCB board instead of on the PCB board ( keep connecting wires short )

If you want to use all the Cinemag inductor values , just wire the switch,
caps and inductor off the PCB board to your passive filter switch containing the caps. The caps will need to be soldered to a 2 deck x 7 position switch with single pole - shorting type.
