i tried it based on a schem i found, didn't work out for me. i sent mine to gefell in germany and they fixed it plus they replace the body of the mic with a new one and replace the obsolete transistor. it was 100 plus shipping
The 692 is the Ribbon version. :grin:

The 691 got a discrete FET without switches, he 692 has a hybrid thingy and switches otherwise similar.I can post schematics if someone's interested.
