Hey,

I started an 1176 awhile back and never got around to finishing it. Im finally getting back into it and so I got it out of my rack and put it on my bench.

Last time I fired it up, it had issues, but it powered up and you could measure current going to the board, plus the VU lamp lit up. I stored it in my rack, with the top on it and it was never touched. I plug it in and turn it on now and it doesnt fire up. One of the problems I was having with it awhile back was my voltage regulator was getting very very hot, but now it doesnt even get warm. I put a multimeter on the +30 and -10 v spots and get bizarre readings that bounce all over the place.

My question is, is it possible for something to just stop working on it owns? I know for a fact there is no way that anything touched or happened to the unit for that matter while I was away from it.. could it be my voltage regulator??

Thanks
Andre
